SOMETIMES YOU NEED SUPPORT TO
learn
learning support

I help students with a customized program to learn skills in executive function, time management, organization, test taking, giving presentations, and other skills. I view these areas as skills that can be
learned and taught.

I provide creative, thought-provoking, challenging, and engaging assignments to help students build skills for critical thinking, writing, speaking, executive function, and overall school and life success.

I believe that kids can strengthen their skills in critical and creative thinking, organizing projects, and researching papers. Mostly,
I give them tools so they can FIND JOY IN LEARNING AND BUILD CONFIDENCE
IN THEIR SKILLS.
who i help
I help high school and college students with all types of writing assignments, including college essays, literature assignments, and social studies/humanities writing. I help students who are overwhelmed
and often don't know where to begin.
I begin with a place of genuine curiosity and listen to folks explain how they are struggling. I customize a writing strategy that builds on their strengths so they can learn to write more easily. I teach students how to organize their thoughts and produce cohesive writing assignments. And I help them understand that they can use their skills to think with more complexity and learn successfully.
